What Is a Password?
A password is like a secret key. It should only be known by you and a trusted grown-up, like a parent or guardian. When you keep it secret, you keep your games, pictures, and messages safe from people who shouldn't see them.
Strong Passwords vs. Weak Passwords
A weak password is easy for anyone to guess, like '12345' or the word 'password.' A strong password mixes capital letters, small letters, numbers, and symbols, and it's longer — like turning a silly sentence into 'PurpleT1ger$Jump!'
Rule Number One: Never Share!
Never tell your password to a friend, even a best friend. Never type it into a pop-up window. If anyone online asks for your password, stop and tell a trusted grown-up right away.
