The idea
I wanted a model that could help sort recycling just by looking at it.
How I built it
I collected and labelled photos, kept a test set aside, trained the model, and measured its accuracy honestly.
What I learned
Messy, varied photos made the model stronger. A clean test set kept me honest about how good it really was.
This project grew out of the Machine Learning & Deep Learning track.
