You Now Know the Real Truth About AI

You know that AI has no feelings, no understanding, and no real knowledge of you. You know it can be confidently wrong, can hallucinate facts, and is a tool — not a friend. And you know how to ask it good questions and work with it wisely. That is remarkable knowledge. Most people take years to learn what you just learned. You should be very proud.

Teach It Back

  1. Choose one thing from this module that surprised you the most — maybe that AI has no feelings, or that it can hallucinate, or that it does not remember you.
  2. Plan a short one-to-two minute 'lesson' to teach that idea to a family member or friend.
  3. You can draw a picture to explain it, act it out, or just talk.
  4. Teaching something is the best way to really know it.
  5. After you teach your lesson, ask your listener: 'Did that make sense? Do you have any questions?' See if you can answer them!
  6. Congratulations on finishing Module 4. You are officially an AI-savvy kid.
