Module Check
You have done something remarkable. In this module you explored the whole idea of teaching a machine — from the very first example all the way to testing what it learned and taking responsibility for what you taught. Let's take a friendly look back at everything you discovered. No tricks, no pressure — just a chance to celebrate how much you know now.

Let's See What You Remember
In Lesson 1, we learned that you figured out what a cat is by seeing many cats. What is this called?
In Lesson 2, we asked: why is writing rules hard? Pick the best answer.
In Lesson 3, what does a machine do when it guesses wrong during training?
In Lesson 4, Sam's machine thought mangoes were unhealthy. What caused the problem?
In Lesson 7, why must testing data be kept hidden from the machine during training?
In Lesson 8, who is responsible for the examples a machine learns from?
You know what training really means. You know why examples matter, why good labels matter, and why testing matters. Most importantly, you know that YOU — the human — are always the teacher. That knowledge is powerful and important. Use it to build fair, helpful, honest AI.
Teach Someone Else
- Pick one big idea from this module — maybe 'learning from examples,' 'why more good examples help,' or 'you are the teacher.'
- Explain it out loud to a family member, friend, or even a stuffed animal.
- Use a story or an example from your own life to make it real.
- Ask your listener: 'Does that make sense? Do you have a question?'
- If they ask a question you cannot answer, write it down — it might be something you explore in the next module!
- Teaching is one of the best ways to discover what you truly understand.
